Lipscomb Academy QB Luther Richesson shines at Elite 11 Indianapolis
BROWNSBURG, Ind. – Nashville, Tennessee Lipscomb Academy quarterback Luther Richesson had a great performance at the Elite 11 Regional in Indianapolis going pitch to pitch, if not more, with the most vaunted guys on the field.
Richesson got the ball out quickly, was precise and showed a nice, talented arm on intermediate and downhill throws.
“I’m not happy at all, but it’s been fun going out here and competing with (some of the) better ones,” said Richesson.
At this point, Richesson’s 6-foot-3, 202-pound offer list includes Appalachian State, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, and Michigan State.
“I have been in contact with Cincinnati a lot,” said Richesson. “I’m fairly new to recruiting so keep it all open and chat with everyone.”
Gino Guidugli leads the charge for Richesson.
“They’ve been in contact with me from the start and they’ve been confident in me from the start and I have a great connection with Coach Gino and Coach (Luke) Fickell is awesome and I have a lot respect for the program. .
“I haven’t been able to see it in person yet, but I plan to do it soon and they have a great culture and they’ve had a lot of success recently.”
It looks like Richesson himself is destined for a lot of success on the road.
