Seeking a Senior Database Developer to design and develop a common data store and data access layer for a vertical market (retail, finance, education…) video security application.
Applicant should enjoy working with a fast-paced, focused, passionate, and dynamic team in an agile development environment
Responsibilities
- Architecture, design, and development of SQL Server based data management system
- Provide technical leadership for SQL Server database designs
- Work in an agile development environment
- Develop/maintain automated unit tests
- Mentor less experienced developers
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Expert with SQL Server
o T-SQL
o Database design
o Distributed DB applications
- 5+ years .Net development experience using C# or VB.Net
- Experience with N-Tier application models
- WCF, MSMQ, and/or WF
- Ability to migrate and extend existing designs
- Work well in a team environment
Desired
- ASP.Net development
- Javascript/AJAX
- WPF
- Sharepoint development
- C++/COM/MFC
- Experience with retail environments and/or video processing is a plus.
